The short version

This is a personal advisory site for Akber Abbas. We collect only what you choose to send us through the contact form, we use it to respond to your inquiry, and we do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing. Ever.

• Information you submit: name, work email, company, role, company size, timeline, and the details of the challenge or opportunity you describe in the contact form.
• Basic technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, referring page) for security and abuse prevention. No third-party advertising trackers.

How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and scope potential engagements.
• To maintain a record of conversations for active or recent clients.
• To protect the site against spam, abuse, and security threats.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

What we never do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not rent, trade, or share your data with advertisers.
• We do not add you to marketing lists without your explicit consent.
• We do not use your submission content to train AI models.

Service providers

We use a small number of vendors strictly to operate this site — for example, email delivery (to route your message to our inbox) and hosting. These providers process data only on our behalf and are bound by their own security and privacy commitments.

Data retention

We retain inquiries for as long as needed to respond and maintain client records, typically up to 24 months for inactive inquiries. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Email us and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe. Residents of jurisdictions with applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, Canada's PIPEDA) have additional rights, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (TLS in transit, access controls) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; please don't share highly sensitive information through the contact form.

Children

This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
